‘Pure Beauty: The Pleasures of Abstract Art’ now at Chester Grosvenor Museum

AN EXHIBITION celebrating abstract art was launched this November and will continue through until early February at Chester Grosvenor Museum.

The exhibition includes pieces of art work by a number of known British artists including the likes of; Cornelia Parker, Ivon Hitchens, Patrick Heron and many more.

This exhibition is a partnership between the University of Chester and the Grosvenor Museum in Chester with carefully selected works of art being displayed.

Council Stuart Parker and Professor Neil Grant of the University of Chester have both esteemed the exhibition as having expressive qualities and spontaneity, as well as, councillor Parker who has highlighted his delight in building such a strong and interesting art collection.Image  Photo from: Cheshire west and Chester Council
