‘JAKA’ graffiti suspect bailed

Chester Inner Neighbourhood Policing unit have revealed the arrest of a 33 year old suspect over the ‘JAKA’ graffiti tag sprayed over several monuments and historic sites across Chester.

The suspect, from the Bromborough area was interviewed and bailed to return to the Police Station in January.

Under no circumstances should they enter the County of Cheshire.

Residents have been in contact with the police 100 times over the past four months all relating to the graffiti attacks.

Over 100 areas were targeted in the Chester and Ellesmere Port area covered with a ‘tag’ reading as ‘JAKA’ costing the council £700 a day.
